Educational Games

As the name implies, educational computer games attempt to teach the player a skill or concept using the game as a vehicle. Games are often aimed at a younger audience; for example, teaching toddlers and primary school children basic computing skills, reading, maths skills, geography or science. However, they may also be used by a more mature audience to learn languages, typing skills (for example, Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing) or computer programming (e.g. Robocode and Core War).
