THQ is an American video game publisher and developer, based in Calabasas, California, producing games for video game consoles and Windows-based PCs. In addition to publishing games based on assets from Nickelodeon, Pixar and WWE, THQ also owns a number of studios, including:

Cranky Pants Games (Kirkland, WA)

Games include the GameCube ports of Red Faction and Summoner: A Goddess Reborn. Their most recent work is an original title, Evil Dead: Regeneration.

Kaos Studios (New York City)

Bought by THQ January 2005, their first game, Frontlines: Fuel of War, is expected to be released in 2007.

Rainbow Studios (Phoenix, Arizona)

Makers of the hit PS2 game ATV Offroad Fury and ATV Offroad Fury 2, as well as the video game version of the Pixar movie Cars for all major consoles.

Relic Entertainment (Vancouver, British Columbia)

A critically acclaimed developer of 3D real-time strategy games, including series such as Homeworld, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Company of Heroes.

Volition, Inc (Champaign, Illinois)

A developer of computer and video games for consoles and Windows-based PCs, such as the FreeSpace series of space simulation computer games, along with several acclaimed titles including Red Faction, Red Faction II, Summoner, The Punisher and Saint's Row for the Xbox 360.
