Vivendi Games (previously known as Vivendi Universal Games) is a global developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment, and a 100% subsidiary of Vivendi SA. The company owns six global development studios including Sierra Entertainment, Blizzard Entertainment, Massive Entertainment, Radical Entertainment, High Moon Studios and Swordfish Studios, and owns rights over such franchises as World of Warcraft, StarCraft,Warcraft and Diablo from Blizzard Entertainment as well as others including Spyro, Leisure Suit Larry, Crash Bandicoot, Empire Earth, Tribes and Ground Control.
In 2006, Vivendi Games created a new mobile division Vivendi Games Mobile, set up to publish and distribute games through mobile carriers and portals.
